Highpower to Report Second Quarter 2011 Financial Results on August 11

(NasdaqGM: HPJ), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) and lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries and related products, today announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, on Thursday, August 11, 2011.  The Company will host a conference call that day at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time/10:00 a.m. Eastern time to discuss those results and answer questions.
